For me, this New Year felt like something a little extra special. It’s the first full year that my husband, our little son and myself will be together everyday, living life like a normal family is supposed to (see my strongerthanborders blog if you’re confused), it’ll mark the first anniversary of my permanent residency in the USA, and so many other new beginnings and ventures. Another first for me is photographing a wedding in the USA, where Janice Baginski Photography has been founded and will grow along with the little spruce tree I’ll be planting in memory of Jennifer and Jay’s I do’s and the start of my wedding career in Washington State!
Jennifer and Jay chose to start off their New Year with their marriage, and what a beautiful wedding it was! Jennifer was the most stress free bride I’ve encountered yet, and so she should have been as everything was beyond perfect! From the gorgeous, crisp bouquets to the excited giggles of the flower girls. From the Japanese Lanterns floating up into the sky to the intricate snowflakes cascading down the wedding cake. I couldn’t have photographed a more beautiful wedding on the first Saturday of the New Year! Cheers to the happy couple and new beginnings!
