One of the best things about living in the desert is that nearly every evening is a Photographers Dream come True! Since the middle of April we have enjoyed gorgeous sunsets and that hour before the sun says good night makes for the most amazing lighting!
Lisa and Jamie asked me to spend some time with their family and I was ecstatic to get to take advantage of the beautiful light, spend time one of the most fun loving people I know, explore a new location and just have a ton of fun!
We headed west out of Othello towards Royal City to check out what most call “the old train station.” I’m not really sure it once was a train station but it’s a cool building either way. Unfortunately, the place has been vandalized quite badly but the graffiti did add character to some of our shots!
For this session I used my ancient Nikon d300 with a Sigma 85mm 1.4 lens. It was my first time playing around with the lens and can’t wait to use it some more on my next sessions!
