Life lessons in Showmanship

Hard work, determination, focus, setting goals and shooting for the stars, patience, team work, persistence and sportsmanship…these are just a few of the things I learned from participating in 4H as a kid and its the same things that kids are learning today.
This year I spent a few days at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup and took in the Fitting and Showing classes held in conjunction with the breed shows.  One of the best parts about this is getting to know the families that come to Puyallup to show dairy, helping their kids out and watching them develop into wonderful, hard-working, respectable young people.  I snapped a few shots of some of these kids showing their animals.
