There are two things I always challenge myself to avoid talking about: the weather and the speed of time. It’s something we all have in common and it’s so incredibly boring. So we’ll get those two out of the way real quick. Today we had a beautiful sunny day, the wind blew and the dust flew but looking at my images from today you’d never know it. And as for time, well our darling, sweet baby girl is nearing her 9th month of blessing us with her giggles and easy going disposition and I have no idea how it’s already been this long. Seriously, where has the time gone?! Continue reading
Cake smash sessions are delightfully messy and I don’t think anybody loves them as much as the one who is celebrating their first birthday! This week Jacob came to visit me, he brought a delicious looking cake, big brown eyes, a smile that just melted my heart and a very big appetite for a whole pile of sugary goodness. Continue reading
This past weekend my husband and I packed up our three kids and headed over the mountain for the annual Washington State Holstein Convention. This year’s event was held at the Bellevue Hyatt, a gorgeous hotel, located in the midst of a tonne of amazing places to dine and shop. Anyone who knows which hotel I’m talking about, knows that it’s a place frequented by people in fancy cars, holding fancy job titles, who live fancy lifestyles. So basically not really people like us. Had we made the trip without our darling little bambinos we might have stood a chance at blending in! But then again I wouldn’t have a story to tell either. The love expressed by little people is second to none! I love those quiet times when the bigger little people show their love to the little little people! Sometimes, when all the littles are in the right mood and we have a camera in hand, these moments are amplified. Not because they know momma wants them to be good for the crazy camera lady, but because they really most truly do love their little baby sister or brother and suddenly they just want to pull out all of their little people charm! We got to witness and be a part of such a moment with big brother Jacob and his baby sister Abigail! Take a look… Continue reading
Growing up is typically a process and it happens over time, not over night. As we watch our children grow we witness the new developments daily and sometimes it’s such a slow process that we barely recognize it happening. Every once in a while we might have to be away from our babies for an extended period of time (like over a weekend or a week at the most) and then when we return home it seems like they’ve changed radically. We expect it to happen, we’re happy that these things happen and since they generally happen slowly, the change isn’t all that overwhelming! Continue reading
It started out as this adorable little treat, perfect for a little baby boy with a love for all things that go “vroom vroom” and even more perfect for a little baby boy who loves the feeling of something gooey and messy under his nails and in between his little chubby fingers and it was even more perfect than that for a little baby boy who loves the taste of chocolate on his lips. But it was most perfect for a little baby boy who was about to celebrate his first birthday! Continue reading
Our little family was blessed yet again this year with the making of new Christmas memories as the whole Baginski team made their way back to Othello for some holiday celebrations. Some had to endure treacherous snowy roads and nearly the whole gang took a turn with a touch of the flu, we had a day of no water due to well pump issues, but needless to say we all made the most of it and had a great time together.
