Nine months down the road to Slowly Going Crazy!

There are two things I always challenge myself to avoid talking about: the weather and the speed of time.  It’s something we all have in common and it’s so incredibly boring.  So we’ll get those two out of the way real quick.  Today we had a beautiful sunny day, the wind blew and the dust flew but looking at my images from today you’d never know it.  And as for time, well our darling, sweet baby girl is nearing her 9th month of blessing us with her giggles and easy going disposition and I have no idea how it’s already been this long.  Seriously, where has the time gone?! the rest of the family is get’n hitched

When I left Ontario to move to Othello with my husband I left behind three brothers, a sister and two sister in-laws (and my parents).  Since then the family has grown, I’ve gained two rambunctious nephews, a spunky little niece and another little niece or nephew en route.  My sister found herself a man and is engaged to be married AND my brother found himself a sweet lil something and is engaged to be married!  All in the space of four years.   Continue reading

Valentine’s Mini Sessions a Success!

So that was fun!  Two days of little children, hearts, chocolates, lots of smiles and giggles and only two almost toddler temper tantrums.  I’m going to call this a huge success! Thanks so much to all of my clients who came out to Ironworks to have a few photographs snapped!  And to Ironworks Cafe & Market, your venue was so perfect and I so appreciate how accommodating you were to me and all my camera gear!  I’ve shared a couple pics of some of the adorable faces I got to see!  Continue reading

Ladies Christmas Tea 2016

I love traditions.  Three years ago I moved to Othello and have been blessed to be a part of a really special tradition, the Ladies Christmas Tea.  Since the 1980’s the Othello Church of the Nazarene has hosted the Ladies Christmas Tea.  It’s such a fun opportunity for women to bring out their fanciest china, get creative and decorate a table without having to cook up a meal or do the dishes when the party’s over!  Continue reading

3rd Annual Columbia Basin Fitting & Showing Challenge in the books!

Three years ago, my friend Jackie, my husband Chris and myself started a little event to teach the dairy 4H & FFA kids in our area how to fit and show their dairy projects.  It was a very long one day event that saw about twenty kids leave full of enthusiasm and joy.  Even we left the fairgrounds that day feeling completely satisfied and thrilled at what a success it turned out to be!  So we thought we would do it again, but make it last a little longer, round up some even better prizes and try to cram even more information into the eager minds that would attend.  Once again, a huge success, with even more kids in attendance and the coolest part was seeing the improvements that kids from the previous year had made!  So going for year three was a no brainer!  Continue reading

From baby to toddler all in a days work!

Growing up is typically a process and it happens over time, not over night.  As we watch our children grow we witness the new developments daily and sometimes it’s such a slow process that we barely recognize it happening.  Every once in a while we might have to be away from our babies for an extended period of time (like over a weekend or a week at the most) and then when we return home it seems like they’ve changed radically.  We expect it to happen, we’re happy that these things happen and since they generally happen slowly, the change isn’t all that overwhelming!   Continue reading

Cake Smash Fun for Elijah who turns One!

It started out as this adorable little treat, perfect for a little baby boy with a love for all things that go “vroom vroom” and even more perfect for a little baby boy who loves the feeling of something gooey and messy under his nails and in between his little chubby fingers and it was even more perfect than that for a little baby boy who loves the taste of chocolate on his lips.  But it was most perfect for a little baby boy who was about to celebrate his first birthday!  Continue reading

Baby Ella Louise

I just love this name, don’t you?  I think her name rings with elegance and classiness.  And then I got to spend some time with Baby Ella Louise and her mamma today and this little darling is already living up to her name at only 14 days old young !   Continue reading

Baby Mateo

Happiness is the smell and little grunts of a newborn baby.  Happiness is snuggling and watching the little faces of a newborn baby.  Happiness is seeing the joy in a new parents eyes as they love on their little newborn baby.  Happiness came into my little studio space a few days ago and gave me the opportunity to photograph all that it entails! Take a look at a few images from Baby Mateo’s session.   Continue reading

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Our little family was blessed yet again this year with the making of new Christmas memories as the whole Baginski team made their way back to Othello for some holiday celebrations.  Some had to endure treacherous snowy roads and nearly the whole gang took a turn with a touch of the flu, we had a day of no water due to well pump issues, but needless to say we all made the most of it and had a great time together.   Continue reading
